PUMPKIN

Pumpkin is a black sabino mare who was raised on a farm in Nancy, KY. She is by Herro (A Jose Jose stallion) and out of a Pusher mare. She joined Vanderford Stables as a two year old and was trail ridden all over Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama until she joined our breeding program in 2023. Standing 15 hands, Pumpkin’s natural smooth-as-glass gait and gentle disposition make her an eye catcher, and we are proud to see these qualities being passed on to her foals.

MAGGIE

Maggie is a black sabino mare who was raised on a farm in Piedmont, AL. She is by Gen’s Black Gin and out of a Dixie Lineman mare. She was trail ridden until she joined our breeding program in 2022. Standing 16 hands, Maggie is no small mare. Couple that with her puppy dog personality, we like to call Maggie our gentle giant and we are pleased to see her foals headed in the same direction.

FANCY

Fancy is a blue roan mare who was raised right here at Vanderford Stables by the stallion Merle Haggard and out of a Pusher mare. Since she was a foal, Fancy has always been a joy to be around. As a two year old, Fancy took a trip to the training barn and was trail ridden until she became a member of our breeding program in 2023. Standing 15.3 hands, Fancy is a proven producer of large, sound-minded foals.

HARLEY

Harley is a gray mare who was raised on a farm in Rienzi, MS. She is by a Perfect Hawk Stallion and out of a Jose Jose Mare. Harley joined Vanderford Stables as a yearling and then took a trip to the training barn as a two year old. She was trail ridden all over Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama until she joined our breeding program in 2022. She is still ridden lightly by grandchildren. Standing 15.1 hands, Harley’s beautiful confirmation and extremely friendly disposition have always made her stand out in a crowd. We are proud to see these qualities in each of her foals.

LADY

Lady is a homozygous gray mare. She was raised in Corinth, MS by a Perfect Hawk stallion and out of a Spirit’s Survivor mare. Lady joined our team in 2020 and has since proven herself to be a valuable member of our breeding program. Lady stands 15.2 hands and exhibits a gentle, quick-to-learn disposition that she has passed on to each of her foals.

PRISCILLA

Priscilla is a black sabino mare who was raised on a farm in Ozark, MO. She is by Blanco Dinero and out of an I Saw Elvis mare. Priscilla joined Vanderford Stables as a two year old and was trail ridden all over Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama until she joined our breeding program in 2021. Standing 15.2 hands, Priscilla’s outstanding confirmation always turns heads. She exhibits a friendly, gentle disposition and is a consistent producer of well built, sound minded foals.

JOY

Joy is a buckskin mare who was raised on a farm in Tiplersville, MS. She is by Chasin White Gold and out of a Joe Boy’s Masterpiece mare. Standing 15.1 hands, Joy joined our breeding program in 2023 and has proven herself to be an excellent producer of colored, smooth gaited, and confident minded foals.
